My latest CD is called “Living in the Moment”. My first CD as a trio (with David Maynard on bass and my brother Keith on percussion), it features strong songwriting and performances and a solid rhythm section recorded together live off the floor with drummer/recording engineer Greg Allworth.
As the title suggests, the songs deal with subjects such as living life to the fullest, aging gracefully, and having a lot of fun along life’s journey. The pieces vary considerably in musical styles, including pop, rock (rock and roll and psychedelic!), blues, folk (even an inland sea shanty!), a country cover, 4 songs with world music influences, and a 6-minute remake of my classic Maritime Rap song Lobster Roll.
